His remains were recovered and he is buried in Live Oak Cemetery, Colleton County, South Carolina.  2nd Lieutenant Alexander Fraser Henderson Jr. entered into eternal rest July 6, 1944 in Normandy, France.  Alexander was single.  Alexander was born December 7, 1915 in Ehrhardt, South Carolina, a son of Alexander Fraser Henderson and Jessie Harrison Henderson.  He was survived by one brother Campbell G. Henderson and one sister, Alice Neyle Henderson.
