Personal Remembrances

2nd Lt. Major’s aircraft was reported shot down by fighters near their target in Wesendorf, Germany. Reports vary from 5 -10 parachutes being deployed.  Lt. Major was said to have bailed, but his chute failed to open and therefore he was listed as KIA.
