Summary: 2LT Brady was assigned to the 55th Pursuit Squadron (Intercept) at Wilmington (NC) Army Air Base.  On 18 February 1942, Brady was part of a three-plane ferry flight.  At approximately 1250 hours, Brady’s aircraft collided in the air with another P-40 piloted by 2LT H. H. Woodford in low visibility weather.  The aircraft crashed in a wooded area about six miles northeast of Brandon, MS.  Both pilots were killed and both aircraft destroyed.
