Killed in Action in the South Pacific. Lt. S. V. Taylor’s Douglas SBD-4 Dive Bomber, BuNu 10338, was in a collision with SBD-4 BuMu 08856 resulting in the death of Lt Taylor, Lt George W. Hoffman, Cpl Paul, Walker, and Pfc Henry D. Kemper.
